Descrição:

Description: English: This distinctive form of silver lupine, common to the sagebrush steppe in the Camas Prairie region of southern Idaho, has a slightly smaller stature (e.g., about 30 cm), slightly smaller flowers than average (e.g., much less than 10 mm long), and a flowering season occurring during the middle instead of early summer. Like other lupine species, this form is common where disturbance is a bit more frequent in the sagebrush steppe (e.g., roadsides and steep exposed rocky or gravelly slopes). The calyx is not spurred and the petals are essentially glabrous in this form of silver lupine. Date: 24 July 2016, 12:43:42. Source: https://www.flickr.com/photos/35478170@N08/28263855200/.
