Great Bustard (Otis tarda) in Banat, Serbia
Descrição:
Description: English: A female Great Bustard (Otis tarda) photographed near Mokrin, in Serbia. This individual is the remainder of the last naturally existing flock of this large steppe bird in Vojvodina. It is endangered because of the vanishing undisturbed grassland habitat. These birds are often seen by kurgans, and their males even traditionally like to display themselves during their courtship dance on top of an old tell mound. : Ово је фотографија заштићеног природног добра у Србији под шифром: РП21This is a a photo of a natural area in Serbia with ID: РП21.
