Description: Russula crustosa Peck Image location: De Berry, Texas, USA Caps up to 7.0 cm across. Spores ~ 7-9 X 5.5-7.5 microns, with low warts and some short lines. These may eventually be called Russula pallidocrustosa by Bart Buyck but for the time being I think they would be called R. crustosa by most.
