Proutia

Proutia is a genus of moths belonging to the family Psychidae.^[1]

The genus was first described by Tutt in 1899.^[1]

The species of this genus are found in Europe, Japan and Northern America.^[1]

Proutia is een geslacht van vlinders in de familie zakjesdragers (Psychidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van het geslacht is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1899 door James William Tutt.

De typesoort van het geslacht is Psyche betulina Zeller, 1839.
