This Mediterranean annual is confined in Israel to the north part of the counrty, growing aboce 800 m. It is characterized by few flwoers that are turning into a wooly ball that is the dispersal unit. This pic was taken at Mt Kata, a sandstone hill of the lower part of Mt Hermon, 1100 m.
