Heliomyces subspodoides Murrill, sp. nov
Pileus membranous, translucent, convex, deeply umbilicate, reaching 4 cm. broad; surface conspicuously striate over the lamellae, hygrophanous, pallid to discolored, margin entire, very thin, not incurved on drying: lamellae several times inserted, very narrow, attenuate at both ends, connected by anastomosing veins, distant, pallid, decurrent, not rounded behind: stipe increasing below, smooth, glabrous, rather stout, hollow, pallid, about 3 cm. long
and 3-5 mm. thick.
Type collected on dead wood in British Honduras, 1906, Morton E. Peck (herb. N. Y. Bot. Gard.). Distribution: Known only from the type locality.
