Heteroteuthis dagamensis is a species of bobtail squid native to the southeastern Atlantic Ocean and southwestern Indian Ocean. It occurs off western, southern, and southeastern Africa.[3]

The type specimen was collected off South Africa and is deposited at The Natural History Museum in London.[4]

Heteroteuthis dagamensis is een dwerginktvis die voorkomt in het zuidoosten van de Atlantische Oceaan en het zuidwesten van de Indische Ocean. namelijk het westen, zuiden en zuidoosten van Afrika.[1]

Het soorttype is gevonden aan Zuid-Afrika en is in het bezit van The Natural History Museum in Londen.[2]
