Plicaturopsis is a genus of fungi in the family Amylocorticiaceae.[1] The genus was circumscribed by English mycologist Derek Reid in 1964.[2] In 2023 P. scarlatina was reclassified to Phlebia[3] making P. crispa the only described species in the genus.

Es un incertae sedis con respecto a la ordenación de la familia dentro del orden, aunque Kirk y algunos colegas (Dictionary of the Fungi, 10th edition, 2008) lo consideran alineado con las Amylocorticiaceae o las Tricholomataceae.[1] El género fue catalogado por el micólogo inglés Derek Reid en 1964.[2]
