Type locality : Jalisco.
Distribution : Middle Mexico.

Leaf-blades ovate-lanceolate or oblong-lanceolate, 4-8 cm. long, acute or slightly acuminate, bright-green above, pale beneath, permanently sparingly pubescent on the veins on both sides, rounded at the base, short-petioled ; inflorescence pyramidal ; sepals ovate, 2-2.5 mm. long, the glands fully one half the length of the sepal-body ; petals not seen ; samaras 2.5-3 cm. long, the wing thin, finely pubescent, broad and somewhat dilated near the apex, auricled at the base on the ventral side, the body crownless.
Type locality : Cerro Colorado, Sinaloa. Distribution : Known only from the t-pe locality.
