Cheilodipterus arabicus és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels apogònids.[5]
És un peix marí, associat als esculls[9] i de clima tropical (30°N-30°S) que viu entre 3 i 25 m de fondària.[6]
Es troba a l'Índic occidental: el mar Roig,[10] Tanzània,[11] Moçambic,[12] les Seychelles[13] i l'Índia.[6][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22]
És inofensiu per als humans.[6]

Cheilodipterus arabicus is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van kardinaalbaarzen (Apogonidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1789 door Gmelin.
