體特別的延長和纖細,無鱗,由一系列的骨環所組成;軀幹部的上側稜與尾部上側稜不相連接,下側稜則止於臀部骨環附近而不與尾部相接,中側稜則與尾部下側稜相接。吻長略長於後頭部;吻部背中稜完全,兩側無棘列。主鰓蓋具一完全的中縱稜。體環無弱縱棘;無皮瓣。雄魚吻部腹側具無骨質突起。骨環 19-20 + 14-20;背鰭鰭條數 21-23;胸鰭鰭條數 19-23;尾鰭鰭條數 10。體橘黃色,頭部及體側無黑白相間橫帶,僅於吻端至體側具一1/4體高寬之藍黑縱帶;尾鰭褐色有3個橘黃斑塊。

Die Honshu-Seenadel (Doryrhamphus japonicus) ist eine kleine Seenadelart, die im nordwestlichen Pazifik vom subtropischen Japan bis nach Taiwan vorkommt.

Merkmale

Die Fische werden 8,5 Zentimeter lang. Ihr Körper ist orange bis rostbraun. Von der Schnauzenspitze bis zum Schwanzflossenstiel zieht sich ein schmaler blauer Streifen entlang der Seiten. Der Körper ist durch 20, der Schwanz durch 15 Knochenringe gepanzert. Die Rückenflosse wird von 22 Weichstrahlen gestützt.

Wie alle Fahnenschwanz-Seenadeln haben sie eine fächerförmige Schwanzflosse. Die Schnauze ist kurz und pipettenartig. Von den sehr ähnlichen Arten Blaustreifen-Seenadel (D. excisus) und Putzer-Seenadel (D. janssi) ist die Honshu-Seenadel vor allem durch den schmaleren blauen Längsstreifen und das Muster auf der Schwanzflosse zu unterscheiden. Die Schwanzflosse der Honshu-Seenadel ist schwärzlich, mit drei bis vier charakteristischen gelben Flecken und einem blauweißen Außenrand.

Die Honshu-Seenadel lebt in Höhlen in geschützten Felsriffen von der Wasseroberfläche bis in Tiefen von maximal 25 Metern. Sie sind dort oft mit Garnelen, Krabben und Muränen vergesellschaftet. Die Fische ernähren sich von sehr kleinen Krebstierchen (vor allem Copepoden) und putzen größere Fische. Ausgewachsene Honshu-Seenadeln leben meist paarweise. Wie alle Seenadeln sind sie ovipar, die Eier werden vom Weibchen nach dem Legen vom Männchen übernommen, das sie bis zum Schlupf der Larven an der schwammartig veränderten Unterseite mit sich herumträgt. Die Fortpflanzungszeit beginnt Ende Mai und reicht bis in den September.

Habitat e distribuzione

Questo pesce è diffuso nelle acque costiere delle barriere coralline comprese nella costa del Pacifico tra Taiwan e Giappone. Abita gli anfratti rocciosi delle acque di barriera, a volte in compagnia di gamberetti, granchi e murene.

Descrizione

La forma del corpo è tipica dei pesci pipa: allungata, sottile e piuttosto compressa ai fianchi. La testa è allungata. La coda arrotondata, la pinna ventrale è spostata verso la fine del corpo. Assente la pinna dorsale. La livrea vede muso blu-azzurro, dorso e fianchi verde marcio, con una linea blu elettrico che corre dall'occhio al peduncolo caudale, colorandolo tutto di blu. La pinna caudale è nera macchiata di giallo e orlata di bianco. Le altre pinne sono trasparenti. Raggiunge una lunghezza massima di 8,5 cm.

Riproduzione

La deposizione avviene tra maggio e settembre: la femmina depone le sue uova (di colore giallo ambrato) in una sorta di marsupio che il maschio cela prima della pinna caudale. Qui esse si schiuderanno e fuoriuscendo dalla tasca marsupiale del maschio simulando un vero e proprio parto.

Alimentazione

Questa specie si ciba di piccoli crostacei, larve e uova di pesci.

分布

本魚分布于西北太平洋區,包括日本台湾恆春等海域,多见于岩礁海岸。该物种的模式产地在日本田边湾。[1]

特徵

本魚體延長呈管狀,口小,吻突出呈管狀,鱗片特化成骨板。魚體黃棕色,具一條淡藍色細縱帶,尾鰭圓形,特徵是尾鰭具3個橘色斑點,體長可達8.5公分。

生態

本魚棲息在礫石或礁石洞中,性情膽小,游泳能力弱,尾部不能捲曲。屬肉食性,以浮游生物為食,繁殖期為每年5至9月,雌魚將卵產於雄魚孵卵囊中,由雄魚負責照顧。

經濟利用

為觀賞魚。
