The wingspan is 10–11 mm. Adults have been recorded on wing from June to August.
The larvae feed on Dryas octopetala.[2]

Aristotelia heliacella is een vlinder uit de familie tastermotten (Gelechiidae). De wetenschappelijke naam is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1854 door Herrich-Schäffer.
De soort komt voor in Europa.
