Phyllonorycter alnicolella is a moth of the family Gracillariidae. It is known California and Maine in the United States[2] and Ontario and Quebec in Canada.[3]

The larvae feed on Alnus incana. They mine the leaves of their host plant. The mine has the form of a blotch mine on the upperside of the leaf.

Phyllonorycter alnicolella is een vlinder uit de familie van de mineermotten (Gracillariidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1889 door Walsingham.[1]
