Vaughtia purpuroides (Reeve 1845)

Vaughtia purpuroides is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.^[1]

This marine species occurs off Cape of Good Hope, South Africa.

Vaughtia purpuroides is een slakkensoort uit de familie van de Muricidae.^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1845 door Reeve.
