De afrikaanse reuzenlichtmot (Macropyralis gigantalis) is een vlinder uit de familie van de snuitmotten (Pyralidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1953 door Amsel.
