Adenostoma sparsifolium (Red Shank) is a species of tree in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Western North America, United States, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Leafhopper Assassin Bug, Honey bee, and Marine Blue. Individuals can grow to 5.4 m.
