Papaver dubium (Long Headed Poppy) is a species of annual herb in the family Papaveraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to South Africa. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Athalia bicolor, Honey bee, Tenthredo flaveola, and Sepsis cynipsea. Individuals can grow to 0.35 m.
