Aster alpinus (Alpine Aster) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves, white flowers, and achene. Flowers are visited by Lycaena hippothoe, Honey bee, Merodon equestris, and Eristalis stipator. Individuals can grow to 0.3 feet.
