腹鰭未超過胸鰭基部，背鰭與臀鰭鰭膜間具鱗，頭部高且圓，兩腹鰭基部相連，尾鰭基部鱗片小於尾柄之鱗片，尾鰭上葉不特別延長，側線鱗列52-54。
棲地
