Eastern Pacific, from Mexico to Ecuador.
The holotype of this species (USNM E06768) was collected in Panama from Playa Grande, San Jose Island, Pearl Islands Archipelago, Gulf of Panama, eastern Pacific, North Pacific Ocean. I have also collected this species in Panama from Playa Las Lajas, in the Gulf of Chiriqui.
