Merulina ampliata (Crispy Crust Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Merulinidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Crispy Crust Coral form shallow marine sediments. Crispy Crust Coral form marine reefs. Individuals can grow to 339 µm. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They are sessile animals.
