They are native to Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Cerrado, Paraná, SãO Paulo, Pampa, Mata Atlântica, and Rio Grande Do Sul. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Astylus quadrilineatus, Ceratina montana, Augochlora semiramis, and Honey bee. Individuals can grow to 0.092 m.
