Prunus caroliniana (Carolina Laurelcherry) is a species of tree in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves and drupes. Flowers are visited by Camberwell beauty, Banks' Andrena, Variegated Fritillary, and Honey bee. Individuals can grow to 12 m.
