Schistura breviceps (Smith 1945)

Schistura breviceps és una espècie de peix de la família dels balitòrids i de l'ordre dels cipriniformes.^[5]

Morfologia

Els mascles poden assolir els 6,9 cm de longitud total.^[6]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a la conca del riu Mekong al nord de Tailàndia, Birmània^[7] i Xina (Yunnan).^{[2][6][4][8][9][10]}

Amenaces

Les seua principal amenaça és la construcció de preses al riu Mekong.^[11]

Schistura breviceps is a species of ray-finned fish in the stone loach genus Schistura. It has only been recorded in the drainage system of the Mae Nam Kok, a tributary of the Mekong in northern Thailand and Myanmar. It has been seen in streams with a moderate flow over gravel or stone stream beds.^[1]
