Oxycheilinus lineatus es una especie de peces de la familia Labridae en el orden de los Perciformes.

Morfología

Los machos pueden llegar alcanzar los 16 cm de longitud total.^[2]​

Hábitat

Arrecife tropical; en profundidades comprendidas entre 49 y 85 m.^[2]​

Distribución geográfica

Este del centro del océano Pacífico: Rarotonga, islas Cook e islas Pitcairn.^[2]​

Oxycheilinus lineatus is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van lipvissen (Labridae).^[2] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 2003 door Randall, Westneat & Gomon.

De soort staat op de Rode Lijst van de IUCN als niet bedreigd, beoordelingsjaar 2009.^[1]

條紋尖唇魚，為輻鰭魚綱鱸形目隆頭魚亞目隆頭魚科的其中一種，分布於中東太平洋的庫克群島、皮特凱恩群島海域，棲息深度49-85公尺，體長可達15.9公分，棲息在深水礁石區，生活習性不明。
