Synchiropus novaecaledoniae, the West Jumeau bigeye dragonet, is a species of fish in the family Callionymidae, the dragonets. It is found in the Western Central Pacific.^[1][2]

Etymology

The fish is named after New Caledonia where the fish is found.^[3]

Synchiropus novaecaledoniae is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van pitvissen (Callionymidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1993 door Fricke.
