Sebastes koreanus és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels sebàstids i a l'ordre dels escorpeniformes.[4][5]
És un peix marí, demersal (entre 2 i 30 m de fondària)[6] i de clima subtropical, el qual viu a la mar Groga: Corea del Sud.[7][8][3][9]
És inofensiu per als humans,[9] el seu índex de vulnerabilitat és d'alt a molt alt (66 of 100)[10] i la seua principal amenaça és la contaminació causada pels abocaments industrials i petroliers.[6]

Sebastes koreanus is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van schorpioenvissen (Sebastidae).[2] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1994 door Kim & Lee.
De soort staat op de Rode Lijst van de IUCN als Onzeker, beoordelingsjaar 2009.[1]
