Apistogramma pleurotaenia is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de cichliden (Cichlidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1909 door Regan.

Apistogramma pleurotaenia Çiklitgiller (Cichlidae) familyasından olup Güney Amerika'da yaşayan bir balık türüdür. Tehdit altında bulunmayan tür, akvaryumlarda bulunmaz.

Muhtemelen Arjantin, tam olarak bilinmiyor.^[1]
