This species can reach a length of 7.8 centimetres (3.1 in) TL. It is harmless to humans.[3]

Gobius tetrophthalmus is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van grondels (Gobiidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 2001 door Brito & Miller.
