日本光鱗魚

This moderately elongate species is distinguished by the following: body depth 13-16 times in SL; dorsal-fin origin clearly before midline of horizontal distance between origins of pelvic (ventral) and anal fins (V-A), origins of pelvic and dorsal fins (V–D) 32.5-43.1% V–A; A 36-40; vertebrae: prehaemal 30-32, prepelvic 30-33, predorsal 36-40, preanal 48-51, caudal 52-58; and total 82-88; total lateral-line scales 66-72; with a narrow band of black chromatophores along lower portion of abdominal ridge (Ref. 121637).

Synchronous hermaphrodite (Ref. 84976).

Mesopelagic species (Ref. 7300, 75154). Feeds on small fishes rather than shrimps (Ref. 121637).

分布於熱帶東印度-西太平洋區，北至日本、臺灣，南至澳洲等。臺灣則發現於東北部、西部及南部海域。

偶為底拖網捕獲，除學術研究外，無經濟價值。

體細長而側扁。頭狹長，前部尖。吻長。眼中等大，前方有一黑色的小發光斑。口裂長，上頜末端延伸至眼前緣下方；下頜略長長於下頜；下頜及腭骨具犬齒。體裸露，僅沿側緣具有鱗狀結構的側線管，約具 62-69個。腹面由喉峽部至腹鰭基的正中間處具有一對縱向而平行的發光管，發光管的前後兩端相連。背鰭小，其起點約位於腹鰭及臀鰭起點連線中間之前；臀鰭長，具36-40軟條。體色淡，具暗色背紋。

中、底層深海魚類。游泳速度快，生態習性不甚清楚。由捕獲記錄推估，幼魚生活於10-200公尺深的於域，而成魚約在240-730公尺間。

日本裸蜥鱼（学名：Lestrolepis japonica），又名日本光鱗魚、裸狗母魚，为魣蜥鱼科裸蜥鱼属的鱼类。分布于日本、台湾岛以及东海等海域。该物种的模式产地在日本相模湾。體長可達19公分，棲息在中層水域，生活習性不明。
