Xanthotis polygrammus (Gray & GR 1862)

Xanthotis polygrammus és un ocell de la família dels melifàgids (Meliphagidae) que habita boscos i sabanes de les illes de Waigeo, Salawati, Misool i Nova Guinea. En diverses llengües rep el nom de "menjamel tacat" (Anglès: Spotted Honeyeater. Francès: Méliphage moucheté).

Distribution and habitat

It is found in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
