I adore these birds. Raptors are amazing creatures and these are so pretty. I'm not alone - along the Capricorn Coast there are a couple of sites where people have provided platforms for their nests and signage asking people to look out for them.

The Blue-faced honey eaters had a problem with them apparently - the kites flew away not long after this.
