Sinharaja Forest Reserve, Sabaragamuwa Province, Sri Lanka. This is a Sri Lankan endemic species, and is classified as Vulnerable due to extensive clearance and degradation of forests, particularly in the wet zone, owing to conversion to agriculture, especially tea plantations, logging, fuelwood collection, gem mining, settlement and fire.
