Bostrychia tenella is a species of red algae in the family Rhodomelaceae. It is native to Rio de Janeiro, Sergipe, Maranhao, Bahia, Paraná, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Pernambuco, Ceará, Espirito Santo, Piauí, and Rio Grande do Sul. It is a photoautotroph.
