Erigone is a genus of dwarf spiders that was first described by Jean Victoire Audouin in 1826.[2] They are carnivorous, preying on small insects such as psylla and flies. One of the distinctive characters for this genus is the presence of teeth bordering the carapace.[3]
Many species originally placed here have been transferred to other genera. As of May 2021 it contains 103 species and nine subspecies:[1]
