Oxford Ragwort

Senecio squalidus L.

Senecio squalidus (Oxford Ragwort) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, Germany, Albania, Greece, Austria, Yugoslavia, Italy, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Romania, and Czech Republic. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Nomada fulvicornis, Lasioglossum parvulum, Dasypoda hirtipes, and Epeolus variegatus. Individuals can grow to 0.28 m.
