Eunectes notaeus (Yellow Anaconda) is a species of snakes in the family true boas. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Neotropics. They are solitary, nocturnal carnivores. They have sexual reproduction. They have parental care (female provides care).

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
