Lonchitis is a neotropical genus of ferns. It is the sole genus in the family Lonchitidaceae. At one time Lonchitis was placed in the Dennstaedtiaceae, and then transferred to the Lindsaeaceae, before being placed in its own family.[3]

롱키티스속(Lindsaeaceae)은 고사리목에 속하는 양치식물 속의 하나이다. 롱키티스과(Lonchitidaceae)의 유일속이다. 한때는 잔고사리과로 분류하기도 했으며, 이후에 비고사리과로 옮겨졌다가 현재는 별도의 독립된 과로 분류한다.[3]
롱키티스속(Lonchitis)은 또는 난초과에 속하는 세라피아스속 (Serapia = Lonchitis Bubani 1901)의 이명이다.
