Nomascus hainanus (Hainan Black Crested Gibbon) is a species of primates in the family gibbons. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to Asia. They are diurnal herbivores. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care).
