Uredinia hypophyllous, scattered, roundish, small, 0.2-0.3 mm. in diameter, soon naked, somewhat pulverulent, pale cinnamon-brown, ruptured epidermis conspicuous ; urediniospores broadly ellipsoid or globoid, 18-24 by 21-27 /i ; wall golden-brown, 1.5-2 /x thick, finely and rather closely echinulate, the pores 3, equatorial.
