Description

Erect, somewhat spreading perennial herb, up to 1.2 m. Leaves simple, near linear to elliptic, apex mucronate, finely hairy with longer hairs on the undersurface. Inflorescences terminal, flowers purple with lighter, salmon-pink standard; calyx lobes pubescent.
