Peltophorum pterocarpum is a species of tree in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have compound, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Tetragonula collina, Homotrigona binghami, Tetragonula fuscobalteata, and Tetragonula laeviceps. Individuals can grow to 25 m.
