Spiraea japonica (Japanese Meadowsweet) is a species of shrub in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to China. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Two-spotted Bumblebee, Brown-belted Bumblebee, Buff-tailed bumblebee, and Half-black Bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 1.2 m.
