Lottia gigantea (Owl Limpet) is a species of Gastropoda in the family tortoiseshell limpets. They are native to Pacific Ocean and The Nearctic. Dead Owl Limpet form shallow marine sediments. They are solitary, crepuscular herbivores. Individuals can grow to 22 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are facultatively mobile animals.
