Gyptis lanigera (Hook. & Arn.) R. King & H. Rob.

Gyptis lanigera is a species of herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Cerrado, Mata Atlântica, South America, Rio Grande Do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, and SãO Paulo. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Honey bee, green blowfly, drone fly, and Strymon eurytulus. Individuals can grow to 0.21 m.
