Substratum: sandy soil on top of the wall scarp and in crevices of it.Place: road from Ratee (SI) to Trbi (IT) (Tarvisio), midway between settlement Pri Jalnu (Fusine Laghi) and Fuine (Fusine in Val Romana), north side of the road, west of village Ratee, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy Comment: Growing in several cushions in full bloom. On the Red list of endangered and rare plants of Slovenia - marked as a rare plant (R). Quite a rare fund in Slovenia. More common toward the west of Slovenia. In 2001, according to Jogan (2001), Ref.: (3), there were only 5 UTM squares recorded in Slovenia with this plant. Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido.El Pirineo.Familia: CaryophyllaceaeDistribucin: Endmica del SW y SC de Europa, desde Yugoslavia e Italia, hasta la Pennsula Ibrica, donde se encuentra fundamentalmente en su mitad E, aunque falta en buena parte del valle del Ebro. En Aragn se ecuentra por todo el Sistema Ibrico -extendindose hasta los Puertos de Beceite y S de la Depresin del Ebro-, y Pirineos, descendiendo al Somontano.Hbitat: Se instala en taludes, pie de roquedos y pedregales, en ambientes de encinar o quejigar fundamentalmente, apareciendo igualmente en sus sotobosques y matorrales de sustitucin. Tambin en pinares y sabinares, bajando excepcionalmente hasta el coscojar.Preferencia edfica: Indiferente. Se encuentra sobre calizas, granitos, arcillas, areniscas, cuarcitas, etc.Rango altitudinal: 500- 1990 mFenologa: Floracin ( Abril ) Mayo - Julio ( Agosto )Forma Biolgica: Camfito reptante.
