Anisacanthus thurberi (Thurber's Desert Honeysuckle) is a species of shrub in the family Acanthaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and red flowers. Flowers are visited by Rufous Hummingbird and Costa's Hummingbird. Individuals can grow to 1.4 m.
