Pteris pungens (Sharp Brake) is a species of perennial herb in the family Pteridaceae. They are native to Amazônia, Bahia, Roraima, Pará, Mata Atlântica, Acre (Brazil), Puerto Rico, and Mato Grosso. They have pinnate leaves. They have alternation of generations.
