Persea borbonia (Redbay) is a species of tree in the family Lauraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Florida, Eastern North America, United States, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Colletes nudus, Colletes brimleyi, Lasioglossum pectorale, and Epeolus. Individuals can grow to 70 feet.
