Canella winterana (Canella) is a species of tree in the family Canellaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. They have simple, broad leaves and red flowers. Individuals can grow to 49 feet.
